about camille
Camille Pascal, is a Brooklyn based french designer, who brings easy, yet feminine and glamorous solutions for women on the go. After graduating from ESMOD Fashion School in Paris and designing for several great french designers, she has decided to write her own story, here in the United States, where she has spent most of her childhood. Prior to starting her own dream, Camille worked and trained at Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Stella Cadente and Nathalie Garcon, in Paris. She now aims to bring her savoir-faire, to the american Fashion industry. She is now launching her 4th dress Collection, 11 clean cuts, all in silk jersey and ultra-bright summer colors and in an Asian inspired print. The dresses are feminine, seductive and versatile. "I design for women like me, who are working a lot, moving and travelling more, who are hooked on their cell phones 24/7 and who are jumping from their office to a cab to a school ballet rehearsal... All the women of my entourage are super feminine, pampered, sexy, perfumed and high heeled. They are my inspiration! That is why I love to underline a waist, emphasize a chest or reveal a shoulder...Of course for these women, the Collection is also available in Midnight Black". This Collection, like the others is designed and manufactured in NYC, which granted the company with the Echo-Friendly Fashion Conscious "Green NYC" label this year. "Here in Brooklyn Williamsburg, there is a very strong sense of creativity, where talents from all over the planet meet and kind of reinvent Fashion, Music, Design, Cuisine...And I absolutely love being part of it". Camille Pascal's latest photoshoot taken in Greenpoint Brooklyn, by friend and photographer Juliette Charvet, is a clear reflection of her Collection, a modern Princess in colorful silk, gracefully wandering in an urban jungle, made of concrete, metal and brick.. And as a tribute to all the great french actresses and all the young rising talents, each dress is named after one of them. So will it be Catherine, Brigitte or Marion for you this summer?
